Chicken el Diablo started out in 1998 in Stockholm. They are one of the foremost Swedish instumental rock bands to have come out of Sweden in the late nineties together with bands like Sickoakes and Audionom. Their music is largely based on improvisation and to an extent influences by bands like Spacemen 3, Neu, Can and Sonic Youth, but they always end up sounding like nothing else. They have over the years earned a reputation as a great live act in Sweden - a Chicken El Diablo gig seldom leaves anyone unmoved. The fact that they have not yet recorded anything except a very rare seven inch and a cdr single has given rise to a small but dedicated cult-following that shows up at every gig for a dose of music that only exists live. Until now that is, Chicken El Diablo is finally going to release their debut album "Love it or Level it" on Airwaves in the spring of 2008.

Krautrock STHLM is a one day festival organized by Airwaves Music.
The aim of the festival is to highlight the contemporary Krautrock scene as a very much alive and constantly evolving phenomenon. 2007 saw the first installment of the festival which was a great success and featured Salvatore, Audionom, Chicken El Diablo, Fuglesang, Elias Krantz and Mackaper.
